In 2014, Hand Drawn Pressing flipped the switch on the world’s first fully automated Warm Tone record press. The brainchild of some Canadian R&D guys with a background designing MRI machines, the Warm Tone record press is everything that its aging hydraulic-powered counterpart is not: safe, fully automated, reliable, run by cloud-based software, and iOS-controlled. We’ve teamed up with the guys at the forefront of next-gen record pressing for a special edition Record cleaner box set that merges Danish design with a shared passion for all things analogue. Produced in a limited number, the collaboration is available eclusively from Hand Drawn Pressing.

“It was a thrill to get the call from such a long-storied player in the analog game,” said Dustin Blocker, co-founder of Hand Drawn Pressing, “[...] and to now fully partner on this hand-assembled kit; we think it is an amazing piece for our clients.”

When we heard about Dallas’s new press, the first to be built and installed in the United States in more than 30 years, we were pretty blown away - the two machines at Hand Drawn, currently running 18-hour shifts, are on track to churn out an impressive 1.8 million units in 2017.
